CM: Dimitris Ameladiotis' present Without Title work is part of a series of his student period in the context of the course of etching. The artist saw the opportunity to experiment ex nihilo with the development of various lines, while being in dialogue with some drawings of landscape by Vincent van Gogh. Giving more attention to the expressive part of his work he defies trustworthy techniques and methods of engraving. Therefore, several technical errors in the strict academic sense appear, which he integrates in the concept of randomness. The complexity of the lines operates at times correctively and at other times covertly. The additional errors generated at the end appear as a different aesthetic proposal. Due to the complexity of the resulting lines random forms are created, which resemble landscape or forms endowing the work with a polysemy.
