CM: The present work of Kimon Axaopoulos belongs to the Photocreation series, which concerns nocturnal photography with long exposure captured on the color slide. Thus, his photograph captures lights against the dark ground. Keeping a small aperture open, he moves the camera slightly in order to record the movement of bright areas on the slide. The random effect, as manifest on the present photographic paper, depicts the linear trajectories of the lights - yellow, red and blue - rippling as if reflected on watery surface.
