Tita Bonatsou was born on 25 March at Patras, Greece. She received a scholarship at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Scuola Nazionale di Cinema (1983-1985) under Vittorio Storaro and Brian De Palma. She continued her studies of directing and photography at Hunter College, Manhattan New York (1985-1989). She has worked as a director, photographer and presenter at the following channels: Alpha Group; Audio Visual Research; Thirteen/WNET, New York; EMIAL S.A. Columbia; Legend Comp.; Mega; Polis TV; Seven-X; Sky; and Star. In 2008 she was awrded the first prize at the 10th International Cinema Festival of Patras.
