CM: George Vassiliades was born in Athens on 3 November 1918. He graduated from Athens College, he studied at Athens Law School. After the Second World War he worked as a correspondent of various Greek newspapers in London. He was co-founder of the daily financial newspaper Express. He had a special interest in the theater and the cinema and wrote several scripts. George Vassiliades passed away in Athens on 22 July 1995.
