Angela Karalis was born on 31 January 1972 at Stod of the Czech Republic, and grew up in Munich, Germany. She took painting courses with Roman Bachmair and Otto Völker (1992-1996). She studied at Blocherer Schule in Munich (1993-1995). She completed her studies in painting with honors at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (2001-2006) with professor Triantafilos Patraskidis.
Karalis presented the following personal exhibitions: Atelierhaus, Munich (1995); Pythagorion Culture Center, Samos Island (2001); and Det Danske Institut i Athen, Athens (2009). Angela Karalis currently lives and works in Piraeus. She is a member of Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece - EETE.
