Leonidas Karampinis was born on 15 January 1968 in Athens, Greece. He received the following education: Faculty of Arts and Department of Art Conservation at the Athens Technological Organization - ATE (1986-1990); Nikos Kessanlis Painting Workshop at the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1990-1997); Department of Painting Robin Patze at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich (1993-1994); and Master Diploma at the Faculty of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens - NTUA (1999-2001).
Leonidas Karampinis presented the following personal exhibitions: Portraits of Cities, Nafplion Art Gallery, Nafplio (1995); Balance, Panathinea Square, Athens (1999); Architecture and Technology: Internet Installation, Museum of Modern Art, Athens (2000); Metachoros, Gallery Bosch, Athens (2000); and Space - Body - Time, Gallery Milo, Athens (2005). Leonidas Karampinis continues to live and work in Athens.
