KasN2005trip

CN: KasN2005trip

MT: acrylic paint on paper 3x(42x30 / F:65x120x2)

IL: Megakles Rogakos 2008, #111

DN: Mr. Costas Stavropoulos - 2006

CM: Kaskouras' figuration has been influenced by marginal people he has been acquainted with, such as madmen; psychos; and unsociable people, which the artist describes as 'freaked-out'. These types of people gave Kaskouras the stimulus for a great series of his portraits. Kaskouras' Triptych: Heads of 2005 presents three distinct heads. The left one is the head of a saint with its hallo, the middle one is the head of a savage with prickly hair, and the last one is of a ghostly figure, whose material substance tends to vanish.
