Frossoula Kopeliari was born on 28 October 1924. She graduted from Pierce College in 1939 and studied art in Florence, Italy. She created paintings with passion and - in her capacity as an active member of many philanthropic institutions - offered the profits from selling her works for charity. In her philanthropic exhibition at her alma mater College in the beginning of the 1990s Kopeliari presented one-hundred-seventy-five artworks on the theme of flowers - the result of fifteen years of inspired creativity. A painter of highly individualistic manner and an intensely varied pallete, Frossoula Kopeliari created painting with charged feeling and sensitive psychism, recording on them personal recollections and experiences. Her studio in Kifissia was indeed immersed in colors and the hues of eternal spring. The art historians have written about Frossoula Kopeliari that her charming brushstrokes are messengers of life and nature.
