Vassiliki Koskiniotou was born on 21 April 1968 in Athens, Greece. She graduated in French Language and Literature at the University of Athens in 1990, a period when she also obtained the Translation Diploma from the French Institute with distinction. She followed graduate seminars on language, translation and History of Art at the Université Lumière of Lyon, France (1991), and at the Wiener Internationale Hochshulkurse of Vienna, Austria (1992).
Following her studies she begun working as a bilingual translator of French and English, as well as an editor on visual arts and culture for the journal 'I Kathimerini', and then she collaborated for several years with the publishing house Delithanassis and Erevnites. She has translated the Dorling-Kindersley 'Eyewitness Art' series of children's books on the history of art (1993-1994), while she presented a series of three broadcasts on art in the framework of Educational Television on Channel One of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation - ERT (1994). Parallel to that she taught French and translation, published articles in 'Antikinimatografos' and 'Metro' magazines, and after 1997 worked regularly as an editor for cultural and art issues for the daily and Sunday edition of the 'Vima' newspaper.
In 1998 she enrolled at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied painting with Dimitris Mytaras, Zacharias Arvanitis, and Angelos Antonopoulos, and engraving with Vassilis Kazakos. She also attended various graduate seminars and conferences on Aesthetics, Art History, and Art Education. On October 2006 she graduated from ASFA with Honors.

Vassiliki Koskiniotou continues to live and work in Athens.
