MARIA KYPRIANOU (Cyprus, Kyrenia, Vassilia b. 1968 / act: Athens)

Maria Kyprianou Maria Kyprianou was born in 1968 in Vassilia, Kyrenia, Cyprus. She studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Theassaloniki with Vangelis Dimitreas and Makis Theofyllaktopoulos (1985-1990). She also attended the School's workshops of graphic arts and photography. She furthered her studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts in sculpture with Thodoros Papayiannis for which she received distinction (1991-1998). She also attended the School's workshops in ceramics and hagiography.
