Athina Latinopoulou was born on 11 January 1946 in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied at the Dimitrelis School of Painting & Decorative Arts in Thessaloniki (1968-1970). She continued her studies with honors at the School of Arts of the Young Women's Christian Association - YWCA of Athens (1980-1983). She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
