Ninetta Logotheti was born in Athens in 1957. She graduated from Pierce College in 1975. She works as a dentist. At the same time, she is seriously occupied with music and photography.
Logotheti's involvement in photography started in 1985. She studied at the Photographic Circle, as well as at the Laboratory of N. Panagiotopoulos, and has taken seminars at the Aegean School of Fine Arts in Paros.
She has presented two individual exhibitions: in Patra, at Epikentro Art Space, and at the cultural center of the Catholic Metropolis on Naxos Island. They were in 1989 and 2002 respectively.
The photographer draws her subjects from the visible world without limitations, including abstract compositions, still lives, human figures, life scenes, all viewed in a very personal, poetic manner, which definitely goes beyond plain description. Due to this, although her photographic approach is in a way classical, it is far from being merely depictive, and has a tendency (sometimes strong) towards abstraction.
