NICOLE LYCHNOU (Greece, Athens b. 1963 / act: Athens)

NICOLE LYCHNOU Nicole Lychnou was born on 29 July 1963 in Athens, Greece. She studied as follows: Ceramics with teacher Tilda Nikolaidou, Young Women's Christian Association - YWCA, Athens (1979-1981); Baccalaureate, Pierce College, Athens (1981); Nursery School Studies, Superior Institute of Pedagogy, Brussels (1981-1982); Psychology & Pedagogy, Université Libre de Bruxelles - ULB, Brussels (1982-1985); Sorbonne II Diploma of French Studies, Institut Français d'Athènes - IFA, Athens (1990); Sorbonne III Superior Diploma of French Studies, Institut Français d'Athènes - IFA, Athens (1991); Seminar of Methodology for teaching French as a foreign language, Institut Français d'Athènes - IFA, Athens (1992); Seminar: Introduction to the History of Applied Arts with lecturer Eleni Athanassiou, Tsichritzis Foundation, Kifissia, Athens, (2002-2003); Seminars of History of Art with lecturer Ioanna Vetsopoulou, Pyrna Cultural Association, Kifissia, Athens (2008-2009).

Nicole Lychnou presented the following personal exhibitions: Threads, Monohoro Art Gallery, Psychiko, Athens (2002); Hearts - Threads in Dialogue, Monohoro Art Gallery, Psychiko, Athens (2005); Urchins, Monohoro Art Gallery, Psychiko, Athens (2007). She also took part in the following group exhibtions: Monohoro Art Gallery, Psychico, Athens (2002, 2003); Epohes Gallery, Kifissia, Athens (2004); The Human Figure in Art, Technopolis, Athens (2009).

Nicole Lychnou teaches French as a foreign language since 1988 and she has a workshop in Kifissia, where she lives and works until today.
