Mauro Mamini Ferucci was born in 1950 in Faenza of Italy. He graduated first from the Scuola Arti e Mestieri Tommaso Minardi of Faenza under professors Morigi, Matteucci and Gaeta. He furthered his studies at the Liceo Artistico and the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna under professors Cleto Tomba, Ilario Rossi, Pompilio Mandelli, Quinto Ghermandi. From 1976 to 2008 Mamini had been the professor of Sculpture at the Minardi School of Faenza. In 1981 he founded the Aut Art Artistic Association, which promotes Art and Exhibition debates and meetings. From 1988 up to 1998 he was a member of the Third Futurism art movement in Farfa and in Rieti and collaborated with the editorial department of the Mondo Subino newspaper. From 1992 up to 1996 he was conducting the Punto Arte programme, which had also invented and presented at the Teleuno Faenza Channel. Since 2006 Mamini is a member of the Manifest "Neormalità Artistica" which promotes the "Libera Accademia degli Evasi"; of Faenza. Many of his artworks are part of public and private collections.
Currently Mauro Mamini Ferucci lives and works between Faenza and Fognano, Italy.
