Alexandros Maganiotis was born on 9 March 1972 in Athens, Greece. He studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens - NTUA (1989-1996), and received a Master in Architectural Design at The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, University College London - UCL, London (1996-1997). In 2008 he took part in the Open Art Residency at Eretria, Euboea Island, Greece.
