CM: The present picture of Akistis Michaelidou resembles a storm, rendered with gestural srtrokes. The gestures culminate in a central tear of the sky, resembling a lightning. Michaelidou experiences anger to the point of destroying her work and by reassembling it arrives at the final composition. The will indicated by the lightning that results from the tear of the paper. The title metaphorically refers to the fact that through the destruction, which is par excellence a negative action, ensues a positive action, which is creation.
