Theocharis Mores was born on 4 February 1927 in Athens, Greece, to parents of island origin. In 1942 he enrolled at the Sivitanidios Public School of Trades & Vocations, Kallithea and attended painting lessons by Vassilis Germenis (1896-1966). In 1951 we was admitted to the Athens School of Fine Arts - ASFA (1951-1955), where he studied at the workshops of Andreas Georgiadis, Yannis Moralis and Spyros Papaloukas. Following his studies at ASFA he worked at the workshop of Aleka Stylou-Diamantopoulou. In 1964 we travelled to Paris with a scholarship from the Swiss Elisabeth Salzmann Foundation.
Theocharis Mores took part in many exhibitions since 1963. From 1975 onwards he refrained from exhibiting his work. He worked ceaselessly and deposited a great amount of work for future generation to enjoy.
Theocharis Mores died from a heart attack in 1992.
