Eleni Mouzakiti was born in 1966 in Athens. She studied German Language and Literature at the University of Athens and the University of Berlin. She furthered her studies in the same subject under a DAAD Scholarship at the University of Heidelberg . She attended workshops of creative photography at the Photographic Circle in Athens. Under an IKY Scholarship she successfully completed her MA in Image and Communication / Photography at Goldsmiths College , University of London . Subsequently she pursued a PhD at the School of Art and Design, University of Derby.
