CM: "The Central" Café was legendary in Zatouna, wherein exile Mikis Theodorakis (b. 1925) used to drink his coffee. It was a particular café, which incorporated a Barber Shop, as Abraham Pavlidis' photograph records. It was decorated with historical prints and photographs. Its manager Nikitas Terris, son of Pericles, who was the founder, made a fine nougat. The man that appears through the mirror is "Avgi" newspaper editor-in-chief Nikos Filis, who originates in Zatouna. Unfortunately, "The Central" Café was closed indefrinitely in 2009.
