CM: Since a long time ago Little Venice is considered to be one of the most charming districts of the capital town of Mykonos Island. This painting by Antonis Polykandriotis presents Little Venice as the prettiest seaside settlements in the Cyclades. The architectural façade is picturesque in its primitiveness. Comprising of two and three storey houses with colorful balconies, windows and doors, built right on the sea, a unique picture is formed. As a matter of fact, the Polykandriotis family house happens to be on the left side of the tiled roof building. Nowadays Little Venice - being the perfect spot from which to view the sunset - is the most famous and crowded area of Mykonos Town, full of trendy café, bars and clubs.
