CM: Tralles was an ancient city in Asia Minor, currently the seat of Aydın Province in Turkey's Aegean Region, founded by Trallians and Argives at the heart of the lower valley of the Meander River, now known as Büyük Menderes River. Photios was bishop of Tralles and later of Imbros and Tenedos, and then Heraclea.
