TITA STAVROU (Greece, Athens b. 1958 / act: Rafina)

Tita Stavrou Tita Stavrou was born on 24 October 1958 in Athens, Greece. She apprenticed in the workshop of stage designer - painter Pavlos Vlachos. During her residence at West Berlin (1973-1976), she came in contact with European art in museums and galleries. In the period 1979-1999 she worked in bookstores, publishing houses, in decoration. At the same time, she voluntarily presented art seminars, to young and old people. She taught art in the "Intervention" rehabilitation program of the Therapy Center for Depended Individuals - KETHEA (1999-2006).

Tita Stavrou presented the following personal exhibitions: Constructions, Vehicle Bookstore, Athens (1983); 12th Meeting of Young Artists, Ora Cultural Center, Athens (1986); Painting, Galerie Zygos - Pireos, Athens (2007); and Les Petits Riens, Galerie Zygos - Kifissias, Athens (2008).

Tita Stavrou currently lives and works in Rafina of Attica.
