Ioanna Terlidou was born on 14 April 1954 in Thessaloniki, Greece. She graduated from Pierce College in 1972. With a scholarship from the Hellenic Organization of Small Medium Sized Enterprises & Handicrafts - EOMMEX she furthered her studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1975-1978).
Ioanna Terlidou presented the following personal exhibitions: Tapisserie, E-MI, Volow (1980); Ioanna Terlidou: Painting, Chryssothemis, Athens (1983); Tapisserie, Gallery 7, Athens (1987); Painting, Gallery 4, Volos (1990, 1992); Painting, Gallery 7, Athens (1992); Painting, Giorgio de Chirico Arts Center, Volos (1994); Painting, Artio Gallery, Thessaloniki (1997); and Painting, Chryssothemis Gallery, Halandri (2009). She also took part in many group exhibitions, including the following: Argo: Myths and Visual Sailing, Cultural Organization of Volos Municipality, Volos (1997); and 1st International Festival of Princes Islands, Constantinople (2004).
Ioanna Terlidou currently lives and works in Volos.
