EDDIE TJENO ERICSSON (Sweden, Malmö b. 1946 / act: Tomellilla)

Eddie Tjeno Ericsson Eddie Tjeno Ericsson was born on 3 February 1946 in Malmö, Sweden. He received art education at the following insitutions: Ålsta School of Graphic Arts; and Kungliga KonsthögsKolan - KKH, Stockholm. He was awarded the following art grants: Ellen Trotzig Stipendium, Malmö (1988); Statligt Arbetsstipendium (1993); Aase & Richard Björklunds Fond, Malmö (2001); Iaspis Konstnärsnämnden, Stockholm (2007). Besides painting he is also a graphic artist working with enamel, glass, objects and mixed media. Language being of great importance to him, he often combines images with text. He also writes and creates music as an alternative mode of expression.
