Yiorgos Tserionis was born on 19 August 1967 in Athens, Greece. He studied graphic arts at the Vakalo School of Art and Design (1988-1991) and furthered his studies in painting, sculpture and art history at the School of Art and Philosophy (1991-1995) in the workshops of Rubina Sarelakou, Kyriakos Rokos and Yannis Papaioannou.
