CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "52. Cypriot deep one-handle phiale of the Late Bronze Age (1600-1000 BC). The external surface under the rim is painted with linear decoration triangularly composed. A broad band with the same design runs under the through the bottom dividing the surface of the vessel into two parts, each of which is occupied by a circle in the form of an eye." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
