CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "29. Boeotian black-figure kylix on a low foot of the Late Classical period (420-330 BC) . Between the horizontal handles appear floral motifs (palmettes, ivy leaf, reeds) including a marsh birds spreading its wings. The inner surface of the vessel is entirely covered by black glaze." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
