CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "33. Boeotian black-figure kylix on low foot of the Late Classical period (420-330 BC). The exterior of the vessel is decorated by a pair of palmettes alternating with a plant motif in the form of a reversed lyre. Under each handle appears a single ivy leaf." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
