CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "25. Attic red-figure miniature lekythos of the Late Classical period (420-330 BC). Much of black-glazed surface is flaked. On the front side appears the bust of a figure wearing a conical shape pilon. At the height of the face is represented a skyphos (deep-bowled drinking vessel)." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
