CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "15. Red-figure pelike of the High Classical period (450-420 BC). The one side presents a naked man brandishing a sword with his the left-hand before a dressed figure that is supported by a preceding cane. The other side presents an individual figure entirely covered by cloth." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
