CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "11. Deep black-figure kylix of the Classical Period (480-323 BC). The entire vessel is covered by black glaze except a broad horizontal band in the center. Between the handles on either side appears a symmetrical composition of a pegasus in between two rudimentary schematic palmettes." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
