CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "22. Cypriot head of clay figurine of the Archaic Period (700-480 BC). The face is frontal without full depth, and from its headdress come out and fall in two clumps, on either side of the face, the locks of hair. The represented figure has strong features from the East." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
