CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "39. Cypriot small phiale of the Archaic Period (700-480 BC). The vessel incorporates two horizontal perforated protuberances. It is internally and externally decorated with serif horizontal stripes, which, excepting two stripes of light brown color on the exterior, are black." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
