CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "40. Cypriot ocular jug of the Archaic Period (700-480 BC). The vessel of reddish clay jug bears monochrome decoration of black color with sets of concentric circles. Two sets occupy the entire surface on either sides of the handle. Three other sets occupy the area under the spout." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
