CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "47. Cypriot wide-mouth small amphora of the Archaic Period (700-480 BC). The red-brown surface of the vessel bears monochrome decoration in black color. The body presents broad and thin horizontal stripes. On either side of a broad band on the shoulder appears a series of six concentric circles in a horizontal layout." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
