CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "49. Oblong trefoil-mouth oinochoe of the Archaic Period (700-480 BC). The vessel has the shape of alabastron and bears monochrome linear decoration in black color. At either side of the spout appears a circle with a spot in its center in the form of an oculus. A group of concentric circles appears on the shoulder. On the body appears a system of thin horizontal lines amidst three broad stripes." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
