CM: The National Archaeological Committee describes the present work as follows: "57. Cypriot lekythos of the Late Geometric period (750-700 BC). The vessel has a cylindrical body with a relatively tall neck. On either side of the neck and handle a system of vertically composed bands surround the vessel in the form of barrel hoops. On the from side under the neck appear two groups of concentric circles." The description is confirmed by Professor of Classical Archaeology Lila Marangou.
