SEIHO: SUMI-E TRADITIONAL JAPANESE INK PAINTING

ACG Art of The American College of Greece, on the occasion of celebrating the
110th Anniversary of Friendship between Greece and Japan aiming at its perpetuation, presents
"Seiho: Sumi-E Traditional Japanese Painting" exhibition, curated by
Megakles Rogakos. This exhibition features 20 paintings and 1 kimono, all painted by Seiho.
Seiho is primarily a landscape artist with a mastery in representing the natural beauty of Japan. His specialty is the perfect brushstrokes of 'sumi-e' (literally ink painting) in the classical Japanese style, retaining much of the traditional manner of figurative art.
The exhibition will remain open to the public Monday through Friday 09:00 - 21:00 until 28 May 2010.
