BENEFACTION
AugustusAUGUSTUS (Greece, Athens b. 1971 / act: New York & Athens)

Augustus was born in Athens in 1971. He was assistant of stage sets for the cinema in the workshop of William Weiss (d. 1999) in New York between 1996 and 1999. He was sculptor assistant in the studio of Leonis (Leonidas Augustides) in Thessaloniki for a number of years till 2001. He worked by commission for reproductions of museums at Kappa Studios in Athens between 1999 and 2002.

In his art he combines his knowledge in architecture, decoration, mechanology, graphic and industrial design. He runs an architectural office in Athens, a painting and sculpture studio also in Athens, and a scientific laboratory in Pieria. He is the author of three industrial patents (self-fed electric generator; hemispherical solar collector; and forehead leizer optical lens).

Augustus lives and works in New York and Athens.
