Takis Efstathiou, founder of PTE Fine Arts, has been in the art business for over 30 years. In 1973, he was director of the Tchernov Gallery in New York. In 1977 he started Ericson Gallery located on 74th Street and Madison Avenue. Ericson Gallery exhibited artists such as Rudolf Bauer, William Baziotes, Betty Parsons, Hilla Rebay, Larry Rivers, Theodoros Stamos, Jacques Villion and others. In 1986, Takis Efstathiou started dealing privately under PTE Fine Arts. His two sons Eric and Paul have joined PTE Fine Arts and now run the business in New York.
PTE Fine Arts deals in modern and contemporary works of art – paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography and prints.
PTE Fine Arts specializes in working with individual collectors and individual art dealers to find important works for both private and public collections.
